Welcome to spark! Day 3! Have you ever thought or said, “If only I had that, I would be happy?” Being happy is fine, but happiness is dependent upon things going your way. It is fleeing. What we actually desire is JOY.
In today’s video, I share the four things the most joy-filled people I know have in common. This will help you to see where you align and where you have opportunities to grow your “joy capacity.” Watch the video now.
Make a list of 10 people (or things) that bring you real joy.
Your list may include your spouse’s voice, a walk in nature, the sight of the sunrise, a child’s face, the memory of a dear friend, a lazy Saturday, a hot coffee. If you’re having a hard time starting your list, start with the last life-giving breath you took in.
In letting go of wanting more and celebrating the gifts you already have, you’ll ignite joy for today and hope for tomorrow.
