Today isn’t about not having fear, it’s about choosing faith over fear. Meet Zach, an amazing young man who experienced love, recording a record hit Clouds, driving his dream car and connecting deeply with everyone he met. What sets Zach apart? He was able to do all of this in his last months of life because he chose faith over fear.

This young man faced his fear with faith. He was exactly right. You can hide from cancer or you can choose to “live” in the time you have so graciously been given. I have worked with many pediatric cancer patients and Zach is truly an inspiration. God bless his family and the faith Zach inspires in us today.
Wow, what an awesome truth to share, Zach is a true inspiration, tears flowing and yet in a happy sense. He is blessed to have chosen to be a blessing and not a burden. Love resignates from his inner being, bringing to mind greater is he who is in us than he who is in this world. Yep I would agree his Christ like inner self is glowing and I would say he is a reflection of Christ Jesus, the peace that surpasses all understanding. Numbers 6:24-26
I was moved to tears watching this story of Zach and his incredible fight against cancer. I’m a songwriter and was deeply touched by his passion to keep writing songs in the midst of the storm. I hope that one day my songs will be able to put a smile on people’s faces like Zach’s songs have done for so many.
P.S. I’m from Richmond, VA and it was so cool to see Jason Mraz, a Richmonder, sing Zach’s song on the video!

My Grandma used to say and pray: Trust Him when your thoughts assail you Trust Him when your faith is small Trust Him. When to simply trust Him…Is the hardest thing of all!
