AmyI especially liked the Albert Einstein quote: “The world we have made as a result of the level of thinking we have done thus far creates problems we cannot solve at the same level at which we created them.” John’s words after that quote about “elevating” our thinking/acting is what I needed to hear today. And it ties into the last webcast about continuing to challenge the way things have always been done through the questions: Why? Says who? What do you see? and What if? In my work in urban Cleveland, it’s easy to lose hope with the years and years of poor outcomes and little progress on education, health and safety. John’s words and ideas challenge me not to lose hope, but to help elevate the knowledge and approach about possible solutions.
