KeymasterI am from St. Louis. What I like best about IN STUDIO is the growing community of support, safe space to work on our vulnerabilities and for self improvement. My superpower is being an empath – I’m intuitive to other people’s feelings.

KeymasterI am from St. Louis. I love that IN STUDIO is the first opportunity for the Live Inspired community to REALLY come together, live each month! My super power is my affinity to celebrate – no matter how big or how small – the joys in life.

ParticipantOK….I’ll join this party. Where are you from?? That’s a long story 😉 My path (so far) is Troy,Ohio > Greenville, SC > Charlottesville, VA > McKinney, TX > Madison, WI > Cary, NC > Irvine, CA > Columbus, OH. So a full circle path that has landed me 60 miles from where I’m from. Quite the journey which is what I like best about IN STUDIO, that being the journey. Being here is a consistent journey that is taking us to our destination; that being to be a better version of ourselves. What do I consider my superpower? Awareness and resiliency.

KeymasterLove this, John. “The journey” I say this often as well as “it’s a process”… such a good reminder.

ParticipantI am originally from Kansas City but have spent my adult life in St. Louis. My favorite aspect of IN STUDIO is that it presents a unique space to find like-minded people all working toward the common goal of living our best life. IN STUDIO has taken the Live Inspired community live once a month. Exciting! Now, with the discussion boards launching, the IN STUDIO community can continue that discussion, connecting members in new ways meaningful to each individual. Fantastic! My superpower is always looking to really see people. Well, that and planning Walt Disney World vacations for friends and family.

KeymasterI’ve heard that you also have a superpower that involves creating excel spread sheet magic!

ParticipantI am from Belleville, Illinois about 20 minutes East of St. Louis. I like that IN STUDIO holds me accountable to work on me! For me that means, I intentionally take the time to grow personally and spiritually so I can pour light and love into others. My superpower is curiosity! It enables me to ask thoughtful questions, actively listen, and repeat the cycle.

ParticipantHi friends, I’m from St. Louis. I like that the Live Inspired community is waking us up from our tendency to sleep walk through life to the joys of intentional living.
It is SO easy to let the tasks and busy-ness of everyday life (+ electronics) take up <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>all</span> of our time so that we string together day after day, week after week, month & year after year of meaningless time gone by.
We need to harness the power of intention to give purpose to how we spend our time, make better choices and give MEANING to the every day stuff. My super power is listening to others and providing good counsel.

ParticipantHello everyone, I’m from New England….yes, home of the Super Bowl winning (again!) Patriots! I like the ability to access all of the IN STUDIO videos at any time because I’m a high school art teacher and I cannot participate in them LIVE until summer break. My super power is my intuitiveness with my art, with people and especially with my puppies! I am a crazy Pomeranian dog mom (especially now that my children are adults!)

ParticipantHello, everyone! I’m from San Diego. I’m new to IN STUDIO so don’t have a lot to base it on… but I think what I like the best about it is that John has the same enthusiasm for these as he did when I saw him speak live last year in Barcelona at an industry conference. It just naturally gets me fired up. I would say a superpower of mine is healing through humor.

ParticipantHello everyone. I am from Clarkston Washington. My favorite thing about IN STUDIO is the encouragement and ideas that we receive. I took our task from December and wrote a note to my oldest son. We had got into a big argument on his cell phone usage. After the dust settled I sat down and wrote a note to him. Letting him know that I tend to come down pretty hard on him, that I do it out of love. I let him know all of the area’s that I am proud of him and how special he is to me. I also let him know that I am trying to shape him into being an honorable man with a strong work ethic. I actually started to get tears in my eyes as I wrote the note out to him. I put it in an envelope and then left it out for him as I had to leave early that morning for an overnight meeting out of town. It brought both him and my wife to tears when they read it. As for my superpower, I would say that it is troubleshooting. I can take a problem and break it down to a more simple form and then rebuild the situation in my head to the best possible outcome.

KeymasterJake, that is amazing. Kudos to you for taking the time to write the letter and thanks for sharing it with us to remind us how much of an impact it can make when we slow down and express what we are really thinking / feeling and what our loved ones mean to us.

ParticipantGreetings IN STUDIO Friends! As for where I’m from, I’ve had a bit of a journey too – like John above! Originally from Strattanville, PA > Cleveland, OH > Atlanta, GA > Johnson City, TN > Atlanta, GA (again) > Cary, NC where I’ve been for over 17 years.
What I love about IN STUDIO – it may be incredibly obvious but to be inspired and to take time out for myself.
As for my superpower, it would have to be my attention to detail!

ParticipantHello to my new community. I am new to IN STUDIO. I am drawn to it because it helps to remind me of the things that are important to me, and encourages me to stay on track. I am from Wayne, PA, lived most of my adult life in Iowa, and have recently moved to Grand Rapids MI to be closer to family. My superpower is to encourage others regarding their strengths and intrinsic value, and to stay optimistic in the hard seasons of life.

Amy
ParticipantHi everyone – My name is Amy and I am originally from St. Louis. I’ve lived in several places and currently call Cleveland, Ohio home. I’m new to IN STUDIO but I was drawn to it for the idea of a community of people trying to live more intentionally. And I love John O’Leary’s podcasts! I would have to say that similar to Kathy above my superpower may be an attention to detail. But it’s a balancing act: my attention to detail can help me improve the quality of whatever I’m working on, but it can also lead me to be a nit-picker with other people. I’m looking forward to participating in this discussion forum!

Julie McGrath
ParticipantHello everyone! My name is Julie and I am a former Michigander, now Marylander. I have been an IN STUDIO member going way back to when I heard John O’Leary speak – and play the piano – in front of 18,000 of us Independent Consultants at Arbonne’s global convention. What keeps me coming back to, and what I like best about IN STUDIO is being able to learn, interact, share and grow with community. I always leave feeling like I’ve been stretched and inspired. My superpower is being a good listener and encourager.

ParticipantHello Everyone!!! I was born and raised on the great state of West Virginia and now reside in Columbus, Ohio. I just joined In Studio after hearing John speak in St. Louis at the Edward Jones home office. Thank you John – you are truly inspirational. I have never joined an online group so I will try to get the swing of things but I am already intrigued by the community that we all share to live focused, inspired and intentional. My superpower is seeing past the superficial, into the intention behind the words. Because of my life’s potholes, twists and turns, I enjoy helping others by listening intently, beyond the words.

Thomas Iannacone
ParticipantMy name is Thomas Iannacone from the Tampa Bay area of Florida. I work a lot of hours during the week. Which means I get very little time with my lovely wife, JoAnn. As well as taking care of matters at home or getting together with others. I have always been a person to keep things to myself. Which I know does not help me to grow. Since I don’t have a lot of time to meet with others in person, I’m willing to put technology to work and give IN STUDIO my best shot.
