- A chance meeting backstage at the Academy Awards led to a lifelong friendship and business partnership with Gerald Jones. More than two decades later, the pair still talk every day and continue building businesses together.
- After producing an Emmy Award-winning television project, Kevin realized success without purpose felt empty. He found greater fulfillment opening homes for developmentally disabled adults and creating work centered on service and impact.
- Just before the COVID shutdowns, Kevin and Gerald welcomed the first residents into their care homes. Had they missed the deadline by even a few days, the business may not have survived.
